But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a babe wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger...Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." Luke 2:8-14

Merry Christmas from Mama Love!
Every year, Mama Love (my grandma) gets us underwear for Christmas. This year, she was a little off on the sizes...and style! Even the pajama bottoms my Dad received were huge! So, after holding them up and laughing hysterically, we donned them for a Fulmer family photo. The funny thing is that with this prego belly, mine actually fit!!! Everyone else has a pillow stuffed in theirs. Where is B-man in all of this, you ask? Well, he was lucky enough to get a shirt, that fits, so he is the one taking the picture.
We got a good laugh out of it. Hope you do to.
Thanks Mama Love!

Our G-Boo!
We had another ultrasound today!! Here is a picture of our G-Boo's face. It might be something only a mother and father can see :) so, to help orient you...it's as if he's looking into the camera. You can see his nose, mouth, and right eye. I still can't believe this little guy is inside of me! He already weighs about 3lbs and 5 oz. Please pray for his little ureters (more detail sent in an email). We've been busy getting his room ready. I'll send out pics when it's complete. I like to just go in there and sit. I think we're officially nesting.

Christmastide
We love this time of year in our house. We love listening to the music, putting up the tree, setting out the nativity scene, making cookies, and being with family and friends. That being said, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of it all and become scrooge like as we sit in traffic, or stand in long lines at the store, or while trying to find the perfect gift (perhaps at the last minute any gift) for those on our shopping list! Although, I'm sure none of you wait til the last minute. :)
When we start to feel this way, let's take time to remember the reason for the season...His gracious and merciful gift, the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
So, put on your favorite Christmas song and take a moment to sit, be still, listen to the words and be refreshed in the true spirit of Christmas.

Thaaaaaaaaanksgiving!
The Faye family would like to extend warm Happy Thanksgiving wishes from our family to yours! We have so much to be thankful for this year and we are thanking God for it all... great family and friends, B-man's grad school opportunity and the family time it allows us, being nondeployable while he's in school, a successful move from Colorado to Arkansas, being able to spend time with B-man's brother before his deployment, and we're most thankful for our Lil G-Boo on the way!!! He's already been such a great blessing to us.
We'd have loved to be surrounded by lots of family today, but it was just the three of us at our table. I decided to go ahead and cook a turkey dinner. Why not? I must say, it turned out really good! Here are some pics of our yummy table.
Is that a butterball in your belly???
Yummy turkey breast! I know... it looks weird without the legs and the wings, but I was still proud.
Even Murray and Sandy give thanks this day...for juicy turkey scraps!!!
Have a great day!

Deployment Prayers
B-Man's brother, Alan is en route to the Middle East for a 15 month tour in Iraq. We ask that you pray for him and his team while there. When B-Man was deployed someone prayed for him in a specific way that struck me as being awesome and thus became my prayer as well. The prayer simply asked that God would walk before B-Man and clear his path. Literally. So short, yet so powerful. We ask that you pray this for Alan and for all military personnel deployed in a hostile environment. We ask that you also pray for the families of service members as the holiday season can be especially difficult. Thank you.

Back in Arkansas
I'm back from my visit in SC. I had a great time visiting with friends and family. Sorry we didn't get to see everyone. It goes by so quickly! Here are some photos from our visit.
My Dad and cousin A taking a ride on the 4wheeler.
It's C's turn! A, C, and their parents are home on furlough. They are missionaries in Africa. I haven't seen them in sooo long. They've grown so much.
We had a great time, but were super excited to see B-Man and our pups when we got home Monday night. I know I've said it before, but we've truly been blessed with great folks in our lives. Thank you all! Thank you also for the birthday wishes and goodies.
Miss B and her Mama! Enjoyed visiting with you on Sunday.
Clemson Reunion
We were roomies our freshman year and now we're fellow pregos! The girls from 8 Lever! Go Tigers! We had a lot of fun catching up and going to the game. Tigers win!

Today, I'm driving up to Clemson for the football game on Saturday! GO TIGERS! Man, I hope we win. Can't wait to see all of the gals from my freshman year. I'm sure we'll get lots of laughs on old times.
Hope you all have a good weekend.

Blessed with friends and family
G-Baby and I have been going nonstop since my plane landed on Friday night, and although I'm feeling a little tired, I'm LOVING it all! It's been so fun to visit with friends and family the past few days. I'm feeling very blessed to have such great people in my life. I think I'm especially feeling this way because it's been more difficult to make friends in Arkansas than it was in Colorado. Can't wait to visit with those we haven't seen yet. Thank you all!
Congrats to KC and WH! A lifetime of love and happiness to you both!

There's no place like home!
Tomorrow, I'll be flying home for a visit and I can't wait to see everyone back in SC. WRH and KC are getting married on Saturday evening! Yay!
I'll be spending time with family and friends throughout the week and will top it off with a reunion with some girls from my freshman dorm (8th floor Lever rocks!) next weekend at the Wake Forest vs Clemson game. Go Tigers!
Now, if only I could really be like Dorothy and click my heels three times and be there...skipping the Atlanta airport...that would be nice!
Prayers for travel mercies are appreciated.
I'll be seeing a lot of you soon!

Need a good laugh?
First, I'd like to thank you all for visiting our blog. It's very exciting when I see there are new comments to read. Russ, I guess you're right...too much time on my hands.
Now, for the laugh:
I know I've already sent this to some of you, but I couldn't resist. It's too funny. The video is a little long (7 minutes or so), but well worth the laughs.
It's a video clip from The Tonight Show about a fellow Arkansan. There's a small portion that is bleeped for questionable content (just FYI). I don't know what's funnier, the story or how tickled Terry Bradshaw gets...

Up and Running...
Well, we decided to join the masses. We are now officially "bloggers". We have some great friends who have been blogging for a while now and decided to give it a try ourselves. So, bear with us as we learn the ropes.
You'll see at the top of our page that we are currently in Fayetteville, AR. We're originally from South Carolina and are both Goose Creek High School and Clemson University Alums. I'm also an alum of MUSC. My husband is getting his Masters at the University of Arkansas, so although we're Clemson fans at heart, we've taken up"rootin" for the Razorbacks.
Our most exciting news is that we're expecting a baby boy in February! We're super excited and thrilled about becoming parents.
We're going to follow the lead of a friend of ours and will be limiting the use of personal information on our blog. So, my husband will be referred to as "B-man" and I will be Carolina Girl. Our baby boy will be "G-baby" or some variation. I think we're safe using Murray and Sandy's names. If you know us, you'll know who we're talking about.
I suppose that's all for now. Y'all come back!
