Ready and Waiting!

We're finally finished with Lil Boo's room and we wanted to share some pictures with you. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to BeBe (my Mom) for making these awesome curtains! They really bring the room together.

Already pulling for the Tigers and the Razorbacks (on top of the bookshelf)!

Rachel gave us the great idea to put photos up of our families so we can show and tell G-Boo about his family that loves him so much.

All we need now is a cuddly little boy!!! Can't wait!

Headed in the Right Direction

We had our 35 week checkup today. The only news to report is that G-Boo is head down...for now anyway. So far, there has been no progress in the dilation or effacement process. It's hard to believe we only have 5 weeks left now. It sounds even closer when we say, "only 35 days left"! We can't wait to meet our little guy, but are happy that he's staying put in the best place he can be...for now anyway. Ask me in a couple of weeks and I might have a different opinion ;)! We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks and then we'll go once/week until he's born.

Not much else to report from Fayetteville. B-man is back in school and is busy trying to get as many assignments done as possible before G-Boo's arrival. I've been busy reading books about everything baby (sleeping, feeding, etc). I've decided to finish the book I'm reading now and then take a break and maybe read something non baby related. Something mindless and fun. We've also been putting together the final touches for the nursery (just waiting on some pictures to come in mail). We'll post pics as soon as we finish.

Oh yeah, there is news of another prego from the Fulmer household. My parents' dog Bella is prego too! She is due anytime after this Saturday. Only 60 days of gestation for her. My Mom said she saw a little puppy move across Bella's belly yesterday. I'll keep you posted on her progress too. Love puppies!

Miss Bella

That's all for now. Hope you all are well!

New Arrival

Congratulations to my great friends Stacy and Michael (and new big sister Ella) on the arrival of the newest member of their family, Miss Hannah Lynn. Hannah made her world wide debut yesterday morning at 7:15 a.m. after Mom and Dad arrived at the hospital at 7:08 a.m.! Whew, that was a close one. Hannah is healthy and doing well weighing in at 6lbs 5oz, and is 18 inches long. Mom is also doing well and sounded amazing when I spoke to her on the phone yesterday. You go girl!

Answer: Next month!

Question: When is your baby due?

I can't believe that when people ask us, "When is your baby due?" that we can now respond with, "Next month!". Granted, he's not due until the end of the month (Feb 25), but still... I remember way back in June when we found out that we were pregnant. It felt like February was so far away. Now, it's fast approaching. Since we've been back from SC, we've been spending our days making final preparations for G-Boo's arrival. Is it just me, or do you always feel like the more you do to prepare for something, the more you think of to add to your "To Do" list? As I was feverishly folding and putting away G-Boo's things, B-man had to remind me that if G-Boo should come tomorrow, we will be fine and he will have everything he needs. Ah, the voice of reason and truth. Thanks to B-man for keeping me calm.

While I'm talking about B-man, let me just say what an awesome husband and Dad he's been to us throughout this pregnancy. He's really taking care of us and I'm so grateful that he's mine! and that he's here to share this experience with me. We're both feeling very blessed by our time together.

I suppose I'll close for now. All of this nesting has made me a little sleepy....good night ;)

Happy New Year!

We're back from our visit to SC. We arrived in Fayetteville last night. While at home, we had a great time with family and friends. Thanks to everyone for making our time special!

I often get questions about who is making comments on our blog. Here's a picture of some regular contributors at an oyster roast we went to in SC.
From right to left...B-man, MPH, KEH, BH, and WRH.
We hope you all are having a great start to 2008!
