No pictures, but...

...we got to meet up with the Garza family Friday afternoon/night.

They came up from South Texas last year and decided to do it again this year to stay at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. It's an awesome place, complete with lazy river, pools, and water slides.

Claud told me they were coming up some time this May, but I didn't know exactly when...until she called Thursday afternoon to say they were HERE!! I was so happy to hear from her.
Boo and I went over after his nap on Friday and B-man joined us after work. Everyone had a blast and I always enjoy seeing my bud Claudia! We were only together our junior year of high school, but we've remained close friends since then. We had lots of fun that year!

Thanks for inviting us to join in on the fun Garzas. I'm not sure who had more fun, Boo or B-man.

It's Been a While

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. I don't really have a good excuse either...laziness I suppose. Anyway, here are some pics of our trip to the Children's Museum this past weekend.

We also signed up for swim lessons this week. We'll be going to those in July. And on the pregnancy craving front, B-man found Tom's Salt and Vinegar potato chips at the Exxon gas station just down the road!!!! Woohoo!!!

Lil Bit

Yes, we're happy to make it official...we're expecting our second baby!
Due date is Nov 19th (good guess Aunt L!).
So, I'm 12 weeks along now.

Cravings: Aussie cheese fries from Outback (they're simply the best), and dill pickle spears! I've been through a jar a week! Ha! And, I'm not sure what I'd do to get my hands on some Tom's brand salt and vinegar potato chips. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. They are very hard to find...especially when outside of the southeastern part of the US.

I was slightly queasy during the first trimester, but mostly just felt kind of blah. I'm starting to perk up some which is great news. I need all of the energy I can get.

We are calling this lil bundle of joy Lil Bit until we find out the gender and decide on a name...which we haven't even come close to deciding at this point.

We haven't really been keeping it a secret, but wanted to wait until our first doctor's appt to put it on the blog.

We went to the doctor on Wednesday and got to hear Lil Bit's heartbeat. He/she is hiding behind the placenta so we could barely here it. But, it was there and was strong! Praise God!!!!

We're very excited and we know Lil Boo will be a great Big Brother, you know, once he realizes this baby is sticking around for good! Ha! I'm sure I'll be asking for tips on making the transition
easier for him as time nears.

Thanks for all of your excitement and prayers! Here we go again!

ABCs and 123s

Thanks to the bathtub letters and numbers Granny and Grandpa sent for Boo's birthday, he now knows the alphabet and numbers 1-10! Boo and B-man practice every night in the tub and Boo is really getting good at recognizing them. He even will shout out letters he sees on signs from the backseat of the car.
