Christmas in July

We've been waiting on July like most people wait for Christmas! Luckily there's that old saying about 'Christmas in July', because that's how we felt on Saturday when B-man's sleigh plane arrived. We were all so excited to see him! Aunt R came with us (family members are allowed to go down to the gate if they have an active duty service member incoming) and took pictures of our reunion. Thanks, sis!

At this point we thought his plane had landed and we were waiting for it to taxi to the gate.

There it is!

Anxiously awaiting for him to walk down the jet-way.
He was near the back of the plane and we thought he'd never get to us!

Granny welcomes her son!

Lil Bit was hesitant at first, but when she did reach out to him, the first thing she did was hold on to his finger.

Ahh, it just feels right...the four of us together! Undoubtedly, these two weeks will fly by, but it has already restored my soul! Thanks be to God!
