A Staycation of Sorts

Well, we started out the weekend, with not much planned, but it quickly turned into a fun filled little staycation here in the SA area. B had a 4 day weekend and we just had a great time together.

On Friday, we went to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch Safari and drove through their safari. We got to see all kinds of cool animals. I think B-man and I enjoyed this part more than Boo. He was more interested in the the window controls and door locks as he sat in my lap through the tour.








They had a petting barn, and Boo loved it! We've been to some petting barns before, but back then he was more interested in just walking around. Friday, he really enjoyed petting the goats.

On the 4th, we went to the pool in the morning and grilled out steaks for supper to celebrate the holiday. It was a great way to celebrate.

On Sunday, we decided to go up to Canyon Lake and check out the Army and Air Force's recreation areas there. The swim beaches were pretty yucky because the lake is so low right now, so we rented a boat for a couple of hours and had a blast.
