Ready to mail! He was very cute when he put in the mailbox. He kissed and said a little prayer... "I hope you make it to Santa!"
Trip to the dentist. I couldn't stop laughing at her sitting there like this. Too cool for the dentist.
View of shirt sans dental bib.
The lady down the street made this awesome snow sculpture!
Gingerbread house.
Olive Garden
Bit and giraffe-y sleeping.
Boo's kindergarten class had a cookie decorating party the last day of school before break. Lil Bit joined in on the fun. I think she kind of thinks she's part of the class too. It was a pajama party as well. So fun!
Battalion Christmas Party! I don't know how this snow got on this picture.
Video Clip: The sweet girl on the end (to the left) has a lil crush on our Boo. She says she's going to marry him. :) Towards the end, you'll see him waving at Daddy and Lil Bit in the audience.
Prior to the show, Santa went on stage to make an announcement. Boo was mesmerized. He was so surprised to see Santa there and couldn't take his eyes off of him. Boo definitely BELIEVES!
Someone is very happy to finally be in gymnastics class. She just loves it. That said, she is a bit nervous about holding on to the high bar and letting her feet just swing, but she's good on the floor! ;)
I know it's been a while. Quite a while, but for some reason, I find it even harder to get our blog updated.
So, here we go...
On Veteran's Day, we joined Boo at his school for a luncheon for military families. We had a nice lunch and then the children put on a little program for us all to watch. Boo was so cute, of course. He had been practicing his song at home for weeks, prior to the performance. He is so proud of his Daddy. We all are.
Video!
We also celebrated our Little Lady this month! She turned three on November 26th! I can't believe she's THREE!! She is definitely still our baby. Funny how that works. She is something. She makes me laugh every day. She also fights me every day. :) She loves to have a good time and is very independent. She's currently into telling elaborate stories and making up original songs. She loves to dance and jump around. She says "comp-phany" when she means to say comfy. And I hope she always says it that way. I love it.
She'll be able to start gymnastics now that she is three and she is SOOOO Decided (her way of saying excited) about starting next week. We celebrated her day by taking our inaugural trip to Build A Bear. She had a blast. Boo did too. FYI, that place ain't cheap! Lol!

Rubbing her pony's heart on her nose so that the pony can always find her by her scent. I swear, I almost cried at that one.
Making a Birthday Wish!
Giving her pony a bath.
Boo picked a Santa Claus. He's making a Christmas wish, here! Serious business.

B-man and I also celebrated birthdays this month. November is big on birthdays for us.
On this spooky Hallow's Eve, we present to you....
Michelangelo (of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and our very own little Hoot Owl!
These pictures were taken at the Moms Club Harvest Festival.
I did make Lil Bit's costume. But before you think, how does she have time for all that, you need to know that when I take on any additional project, no matter how big or small, beyond getting us through the day, something falls through the cracks. This costume consumed our kitchen table for quite some time. And the dishes piled up and the clutter abounded. During the making of this costume we also took to just getting dressed in the laundry room because that's where all of our clothes were. I just couldn't get them put away. :) Does that make you feel better? I hope so. Something has to give...always.
But, I just love it and so does she. It turned out so well. And after tonight, we'll put it with her dress-up clothes and I'm sure she'll get plenty of use out of it.
And for the record, I did offer to make a costume for Boo, but he had already decided on this very costume and didn't want to change. No problem!
This sweet girl is in Boo's kindy class. She's a little sweet on him. :)
It's also worthy to note that we don't currently have a flake of snow around to speak of. After being fairly covered in snow the last couple of Halloweens, this is quite unusual. We had one snow day in September and that has been it so far. So, there will be no snow pants peeking out of our costumes tonight.
Oh, I almost forgot. B-man and I went to a Halloween Party last weekend. He'll be thrilled that I'm sharing...
