Wake Up Call

If you know us, you know that B-man sleeps HARD!! It's so hard to wake him up. Take it from this gal who once rolled over in bed to see that he was trying to turn off the alarm clock with the TV remote control. Ha! Funny now...not so funny when I desperately wanted the alarm OFF.

So, I played a dirty trick on him this morning.

This was our conversation when I went to wake him this a.m.

Me: "Honey, it's time to get up now... and oh, by the way, they fired Tommy Bowden this morning".

B-man: With eyes wide open "Are you dead serious?"

Ha! Got em!!
Not only did he say "are you serious?" he said, "are you dead serious?"

All of this after our dear Tigers played horribly last night. This was supposed to be our year.
I really do wonder if Tommy Bowden will survive this season.

He was awake after that!

Wordle Wednesday

A lot of bloggers post only a picture on Wednesdays and call it "Wordless Wednesday". I was thinking of doing that when I was viewing Amanda's blog and saw her wordle in the sidebar.

I decided to check it out. So fun! So, here's our first installment of Wordle Wednesday! I think we'll alternate between Wordless Wednesday and Wordle Wednesday depending on our adventures.

Seriously?

So, there we were playing on the floor (B-man, G Boo, and myself) when a heavy rain storm came through. We weren't even watching TV, but it was on and when we looked up, we saw that the satellite picture was frozen (it does this sometimes with heavy rain). What was on the screen you ask???

It was so funny! This image was on our screen for about 10 minutes!! Are you kidding me??

Yes, I'm taking the opportunity to post this inappropriate photo while my mother is in NYC and away from her computer! If she was home, I'm sure I'd hear about this one! So...don't tell her! ;)
For real though, she'd probably laugh first, and then say, "I can't believe you put that on your blog".

I even think Sandy and Murray got a little laugh out of this one! :)

Boo is feeling some better and Sandy Girl is on the mend as well. Yay!

Not Me Monday

I've been pretty good this week! Not much to confess here. So, here it goes...

I'm not at all jealous that my Mom and sister are on their way to NYC and I'm at home with a sick child and sick dog!!!! Nope, not me! (Seriously, I wouldn't have been able to pull myself away from a sick Boo to go the Big Apple. I'm needed here and the city will have to wait).

BeBe and Aunt R, have a WONDERFUL time!!! Can't wait to hear all about it.

7 months!

Lil Boo is 7 months old today! We can't believe how much he's grown. I thought he was a handful before, well now he's just so busy and so interested in everything!! Squirmy wormy!
