Ruh Roh

You may remember that I've mentioned that we have some rose bushes in our backyard. Well, when I'm out watering the roses with the garden hose, Boo has really enjoyed helping me by always putting his hand in the stream of water. He LOVES it. And, although it's not always convenient to have a wet, dirty boy, I usually let him have his fun. I mean, it's hot out, he's a boy, etc... No harm in that, right? Maybe.

Let's fast forward to a few days ago when we were out playing in the yard. I was sitting in the rocking chair on the patio and Boo was in the yard with Murray and Sandy. Murray decided he needed to tinkle and started making a stream of his very own, if ya know what I mean. Remember, he's a boy and hikes his leg to tinkle, making the perfect rainbow arc!!

It all seemed to be happening in slow motion and I could just see the events unfolding. That being said, I was not quick enough and before I could get to G, all the while shouting, "Don't touch, don't touch", my beloved little boy reached his hand out, just like he does when I'm watering the roses, and put it in Murray's stream of water.

If only someone could have video-taped your expression and actions when this was happening!!! That would have been a great entry for "America's Funniest Videos"!!! Okay, you are officially inducted into "The Motherhood of Boys!!". Please write this in the memory book. There will be more to add in the coming years. Thanks for the great laugh this morning. Love to All, A. Lori

Well, all of my shouting ended up scaring Murray off and not effecting Boo in the least. Ha!

I had a bottle of water with me and I just rinsed off his hand and he went back to playing in the sand box.

You're right Aunt Lori...life with boys! :)
