I went to the OB on the 8th and yesterday to be checked to see if Lil Bit was on her way. Well, I was only 1 cm on the 8th and was still only 1 cm yesterday. I was hoping Bitsy would hold out until today because my Mom arrived today (thank goodness)! But, I was hoping for a little something more yesterday when I was checked. But, I know I won't be pregnant forever and she will come eventually...but now that BeBe is here, I'm kind of ready to get this show on the road.
My Mom is here and Boo, Sandy, and Murray have given her a very warm and active welcome this morning! I just feel more at ease having her here. I almost cried when I saw her at the airport...it just gave me that, "Ahhh, my mom is here and everything is going to be okay!" feeling. I hope I give that feeling to my babies too.
Two other shout outs today...
Happy Bday to our nephew M, back in SC. I was wondering if you and Bitsy would share the day, but I don't think it's going to happen. Perhaps she's waiting to share with her Daddy and Uncle A who were born on the 23rd.
My dear friend from our Colorado days has launched a home business sewing camera straps and key chains. They're adorable and very reasonably priced! Check it out at Sewing for Lenses.
That's all for now. I'll keep you posted!

Waiting on the edge of our seats for Lil' Bitsy's arrival! Glad your mom made it safely and please let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help!!!
Oh, SO glad your mom is there now. I totally know the feeling you had at the airport--it is one of peace. Mothers bring deep sighs of peace. Awesome. Enjoy those breaths. We'll be praying for little Bits, that she'll make her grand entrance in due time!! Blessings in the meantime... Schedule something fun for your due date (pedicure?) so you won't be bumming too badly if it comes! :)
Hang in there! She will come when she is ready. Sit back and try to relax now that BeBe is there.
Sorry guess I should have signed the above comment!

Thanks for the shout-out, Sally! Hang in there! My sister is still waiting for her little one to make an entrance, too. Try to enjoy these last few days of life as a family of three. SOOO precious. It will never be the same again. (But it WILL be more amazing than you can even imagine!)
I agree with B-Mama. Schedule a little pampering for yourself! You deserve it! And I must say, Landon is almost 20 months and I've only polished my toenails once since he was born -- LOL!
Thanks for keeping us posted. Can't wait for the big day! Glad that your mom arrived safely. Enjoy spending time with her before the baby arrives and make sure you let her pamper you, as I know she will want to, because you deserve it!
