Drumroll, Please...

We had a break in the weather one day last week, so B-man was anxious to get the Jeep painted. He drove around to the back of our temporary housing and got to work. One good thing about it being light out all night is that you can just keep working on your projects until they get done. Unless it rains...which it didn't, but we were afraid it might.

So, click here for the before pictures.

Boo was very excited to look out the window and see B-man painting the Jeep. He kept saying, "Mama!! Daddy's painting his Jeep green!"

Prepping to prime.

Priming the top.

And here it is...

Wait for it....

Wait for it...

Ta-Dah!

They were out of OD green at the store, so he went with spruce green for the top and black on the hood.

No more girlie stickers!

Not too shabby!
We do embrace purple around here, as you all know we are Clemson Tigers through and through, but I think this color scheme is a better fit for B-man.

So, what do you think?

Well, he can always get a job for MACCO! Looks pretty good. Question... what is that thing sticking up on the driver's side? A sound system????

Wow, he did a great job!

The pictures of Alaska are beautiful! How are you adjusting? That little town is just like the movies!

Sorry you couldn't see Sarah Palin's house. ; ( I would have tried, too! Maybe you'll see her out and about sometime.

BeBe, that's a snorkel. It keeps water from getting into the engine if you go through high water.

And no fun supper menu...rotisserie chicken and spaghetti. ha!

Ok, sounds like that snorkel is what everybody needs around here to travel the CrossTown with when is rains! Would be a lot cheaper than trying to constantly fix the Cross Town so it won't flood.

PS It's always good to have comfort food!

Lookin' good! Instead of covering the purple, he could have always just covered the khaki with orange and put a big paw print sticker over the girlie sticker! Instant Tiger-mobile! :) ha! Think his paint job was more apropos though!

I kinda liked the purple, but I agree the green is a much better fit for B-man! Nice work!

Ah! What happened to my jeep?!?!?! Before you move back to the lower 48, you've got to find another purple camo jeep for me.
