It's POTTY MAN!!!
So, yesterday Boo and I started some hard core potty training. The plan...pump him full of liquids and snacks so that he would have to potty a lot! Well, that part definitely worked. He definitely had to go a lot. The problem was...he didn't always go in the potty.We started off in these terrible training pants. He HATED them and really, who can blame him? They were made of plastic and were HUGE! So, after he peed through 2 pairs of these lovely pants, we went to real underwear...4 accidents later and we were out of underwear. So then, we tried pull ups but I felt like they were too much like a diaper, meaning no incentive to acknowledge the peeing that was happening. At least with the regular underwear he would say "Uh-oh" as he peed in his pants.
So, in about 2 hours we had gone through all available underwear options and decided to go the naked route! The good news for the morning was that he always "went" when I put him on the toilet. The bad news was that he also "went" in his pants or on the floor, sometimes right after going on the toilet.
The afternoon went much better! We did run an errand and he wore a diaper for that, but stayed in pull-ups the rest of the day and didn't have any accidents. I didn't push the liquids as much b/c he was going like every 8 minutes in the morning.
And this morning, so far so good. He's been up for 2 hours and no accidents yet!
He loved drinking out of his Schlitterbahn souvenir cup!
Teaching cow how to go potty.He really got a kick out of showing cow how to do it.
He even praised cow afterwards saying, "Good job go potty cow..."
These are the only pics I got because it kind of got hectic there with him going every 5-8 minutes, the treats, the stickers, the paper towels to clean up, the laundry, etc...
But I just had to get a pic of him in those hilarious training pants...you know to share with his future wife.

OK, I don't blame Potty Man for not liking the "Pants", but it is now about 48 hours into training, how is it going? Don't evny you, but it will be worth it in the long run! Continued good luck to you all : D

OMG!!! Those training pants are so hilarious!! I thought they were underwear at first and wondered what the deal was -- LOL!! What a big boy you have on your hands! Good luck to both of you! Stick with it!
P.S. You look FANTASTIC, BTW!! I can't believe just a few more months and you'll have a new little one! So exciting!

Just remebered the Christmas "panties" Mama Love gave us when you were preg. with G-Boo. These pics are reminiscent of that Chritmas. R,D and I all stuffed pillows in them, you however, filled them out with G_boo. I'll have to send you a picture of that so others will know what I speaking of and get a laugh to boot!

You look great in your picture...so exciting! i wanted to say thanks for the sleep encouragment/suggestions w/ John. I am happy to report he is sleeping MUCH better now in a sleepsack and after having to cry it out for a few nights. Hopefully it stays this way! Miss you!
